Campuses are located in Fairibault and North Mankato. The Fairibault Campus is located in Southern Minnesota, less than a 30 minute drive to the Twin Cities metropolitan area. This picturesque community combines the benefits of small town living with the convenience of being so close to a major city. Fairibault has a rich historical background and offers many recreational and cultural experiences.
The North Mankato Campus is located in South-Central Minnesota along the Minnesota River. North Mankato is abundant with natural beauty and surrounded by several lakes and parks. In addition to the recreations offered to nature lovers, North Mankato has a vast selection of retail shops and home to Caswell Park, one of the state’s premier softball complexes. Academics
South Central College offers over 50 technical majors in; Industrial Technology, Agribusiness, Health and Safety, Construction Technology and Business. In addition to the wonderful technical programs, SCC offers majors in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The first two years of general education in Associate in Arts degree can be completed at SCC. The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC), will transfer students to any state college or university within the system, including the University of Minnesota. Many students are increasingly starting their collegiate academic journey at SCC, then transferring to four-year universities and colleges.

Tuition
South Central College can boast one of the best tuition prices in the state of Minessota. Enrollees can expect to save more than $3,000 (within first 2 years) in comparison to many other two and four year schools. In addition to an affordable tuition cost, SCC also offers many financial aid grants, scholarships, workstudy and student loans. SCC provides several options to make quality education available to meet most budgets.
The average cost per credit (including additional fees such as parking and student activity fees) is $165 per credit. Online credit tuition runs slightly higher at $195 per credit. The cost is the same for out of state students. These numbers reflect the 2010-2011 tuition fees and are subject to change.
